Support for CoreCLR as a runtime platform (including Linux, iOS)
Scenario: pre-build an ASP.NET v5 app on Windows but run it on Linux and iOS using .NETCore.
Completed in PostSharp 5.0.
We'll have experimental support for UWP in the next build of PostSharp 5.0. UWP = .NET Core + WinRT + .NET Native. We won't have support for .NET Native yet.
Thank you for your feedback. it is important for us to understand that there is real demand for .NET Core.
The feature is still planned for 4.4. For more, see https://www.postsharp.net/support/roadmap.
is it still planned for 4.4?
Do you already see a rough schedule for it?
PostSharp was always one of my favorite tools - for several years.
However, as participating in multiple projects based on .NET Core, I haven't been able to use it in recent several months. Therefore, I'm impatiently waiting for a release that already supports .NET Core.
Actually, I already have the approval to buy several commercial licences for my team. It just should be there with the .NET Core support :)
